E-Sign consent & disclosure

Under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act), we are required to provide you with specific disclosures before documents can be sent to you electronically. These disclosures and requirements are designed to ensure that your consent is informed, affirmative, and in compliance with the E-SIGN Act and other relevant laws.

1) With your consent, you are agreeing to receive specific documents electronically from us. These documents may include notices, stipulations, confessions of judgment, settlement agreements, legal pleadings, account-level documents, and any required disclosures under the E-SIGN Act, the FDCPA, Regulation F, state specific statutes or other applicable laws.

2) To receive and retain the electronic documents that we will send to you, you must have the following:
a. A device with internet access,
b. A current web browser (such as: Chrome, Safari, Firefox),
c. An active email address,
d. Software to review a PDF file (such as: Adobe Acrobat Reader),
e. Storage capacity on your device or a printer for saving or printing the documents.

3) You have the right to receive a paper copy of any document we provide you electronically. To request a paper copy of any document we provide you electronically, please contact us by email (
info@gurstel.com), phone number (877-344-4002), or by mail (6681 Country Club Drive, Golden Valley, MN 55427). We will need to know the name of the document that you are requesting a paper copy of and the date it was sent to you electronically.

4) You are responsible for updating us of any changes to your email address or if your email address is no longer valid. Please notify us by email (

5) Your consent to receive documents and/or information from Gurstel Law Firm P.C. will remain valid for the duration of our relationship with you unless you choose to withdraw it. To withdraw your consent to receive documents and/or information from Gurstel Law Firm P.C. please see the section immediately below that describes how to withdraw your consent.

6) You may withdraw your consent to receive electronic documents at any time. To do so, please notify us by email (
info@gurstel.com), phone number (877-344-4002), or by mail (6681 Country Club Drive, Golden Valley, MN 55427. Please be specific when you email us and indicate that you longer wish to receive documents and/or information from Gurstel Law Firm P.C. electronically.
